Application Window for Boone County Senior Real Estate Tax Relief Program to Begin April 1, 2026
Applications for the Boone County Senior Real Estate Tax Relief Program will be accepted starting Wednesday, April 1 for qualified individuals who are not currently enrolled in the program and reached the age of 62 prior to January 1, 2026. Eligible Boone County taxpayers who wish to participate in the program can apply between Wednesday, April 1, 2026, and Tuesday, June 30, 2026.

Boone County Commission to Consider Recommended Regulatory Code Changes to Support Affordable Housing
On Tuesday, March 31 at its 7 p.m. meeting, the Boone County Commission will consider recommended changes to the Boone County Zoning and Subdivision Regulations aimed at supporting housing affordability in Boone County. The meeting will also include a public hearing during which citizens are welcome to comment on the proposed changes.
