Second Quarter of 2026
The Employee of the Quarter for the second quarter of 2026 is Andy Bell, Deputy Court Marshal.

We are delighted to recognize Andy Bell for his outstanding contributions and unwavering commitment to Boone County.
Andy exemplifies the professionalism, dedication, and compassion that define exceptional public service. As a Court Marshal, he consistently demonstrates sound judgment, calm leadership, and a proactive approach to ensuring the safety and security of the courthouse while treating every individual with dignity and respect. Whether interacting with members of the public during challenging circumstances or supporting judges, court staff, and colleagues, Andy is composed, dependable, and service oriented.
Respected across multiple departments and agencies, Andy is a trusted leader, mentor, and teammate who sets a strong example through his work ethic and integrity. His willingness to go above and beyond was highlighted in two nominations submitted during the second quarter.
During a challenging court hearing involving disruptive parties and a child in crisis, Andy's calm demeanor, proactive planning, and compassionate approach helped prevent the situation from escalating. He maintained order in the courtroom while providing reassurance and comfort to the child during an extremely difficult moment.
At a recent retirement event, Andy volunteered to assist a retired former judge, ensuring she was safely escorted throughout the event and providing attentive support despite an already demanding schedule. His reliability and commitment to serving others were evident every step of the way.
Andy does not seek recognition for his efforts; he is driven by a genuine commitment to serving others and creating a safe, welcoming environment for everyone who enters the courthouse. His professionalism, initiative, and unwavering dedication make him an invaluable member of the 13th Judicial Circuit and Boone County, and a truly deserving recipient of the Q2 Employee of the Quarter award.
