Responsibilities:

Supports the Human Resources & Risk Management department by performing a wide range of Human Resources functions for assigned offices and departments. This role acts as a primary liaison between assigned offices and departments and Human Resources & Risk Management staff and services, and assists with recruitment and hiring processes, monitoring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and policies, conducting internal investigations, conducting training, and providing consultation on best practices and process improvement.

Status: 

Full-time, exempt, benefited

Working hours: 

Primarily 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Monday - Friday

Location:

Columbia, Missouri

Qualifications: 

3 to 5 years of experience in human resources or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have and maintain a valid driver's license. Must possess a clear criminal history.

Preferred Skills: 

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Public Administration, or related field. Experience supporting multiple offices and departments and hiring a wide variety of positions. Experience conducting investigations and handling confidential personnel issues. Experience working in a public entity or government setting. HRIS experience.

Starting Salary Range: 

$62,940 - $64,854
