
Under general supervision of the Commission Administrative Coordinator, completes projects as assigned during the internship program.
Performs duties related to assigned projects, which may include: compilation, management, and review of data and information; research; development of action plans; project planning; events planning; communications activities; or a combination of any of these duties.
Performs work in conjunction with other Boone County departments and offices as directed by the Boone County Commission; handles sensitive information and records as needed; maintains confidentiality.
Provide support as needed for the Commission office; answers phones and responds to inquiries as appropriate; provides customer assistance; maintain files.
Interns are expected to have a flexible work schedule and an agreement to complete 10-20 hours per week of work for a duration of up to six months based on assigned work. Normal office hours are 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday-Friday but may require work outside of normal office hours depending on the nature of the assigned projects.

Must be at least 18 years of age at the time of hire and enrolled in a degree-seeking program. Must meet minimum qualifications set forth by the F.B.I. and MSHP CJIS Security policy.
$14.10 to $14.98 per hour
